What to do if you want to be a cardiac surgeon?

In order to become a cardiac surgeon you will have to take the followings teps:
Step 1: Completion of 10+2 with appropriate subjects
Description: Students are required to successfully complete 10+2 in physics, chemistry and biology with an aggregate of 50 per cent of marks from a recognised board.
Step 2: Qualify the Entrance
Description: Several universities and colleges conduct entrance examinations to provide admissions. Candidates are required to prepare and appear in entrance examinations.
Major entrance examinations
NEET: National Eligibility cum Entrance Test
AIIMS UG: All India Institute of Medical Sciences Entrance Examination Under Graduate
JIPMER: Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research Entrance Examination
Step 3: Bachelor
Description: Candidates are required to enrol in M.B.B.S. (Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery) after successful completion of 10+2 from a recognised board.
Step 4: Post bachelor
Description: Candidates have several options post bachelor. I have mentioned below the major options they can opt for to lead their career path.
Option 1: Candidates can start working at an entry level role after successful completion of bachelor's level degree. After acquiring an experience of one to two years, they can further start continue their education and opt for a master's level degree.
Option 2: Candidates can enrol in a master's degree programme in the related specialisation post bachelor without any gap in the academic year. After successful completion of a master's degree programme candidates can start working in the industry at an entry level role.
