Last rank which secured admission in Government MBBS seat -
DMET has thus far released seat allotment data for only two rounds of counselling, the second of which was released on August 19. As per the seat allotment data of the second round, the last candidate to secure a Government College MBBS seat in Odisha secured a NEET 2017 Rank of 15,482 which translated to a state rank of 559. Including the Green Card Holder Sub Category under General Category, the last rank to secure a Government College seat in Odisha secured a NEET 2017 Rank of 15,489, translating to a state rank of 560. Both of these General Category ranks secured admissions in SLN Medical College, Koraput. Although there is a possibility that a rank beyond 560 may have secured Government College admissions in the Spot Counselling round held in the last week of August (data for which is currently unavailable), it is advisable to aim for top-600 state rank to ensure your chances of securing a Government Medical College seat in Odisha in NEET 2018.
Hope this helps!
