Presidency University, Kolkata offers BSc(Hons) in Life Science for which admissionis done through entrance test named PUBDET, which is further followed by counselling,its eligibility criteria is passed 10+2 with relevant subjects from a recognized board with 70% aggregate for General, for SC/ST it's 52.50, for OBC-A/B it's 63%, for PwD it's 66.50.
When it comes to Jadavpur University, it offers BSc(Hons) in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Geological Sciences and Geography only. Under Department of Life Science and Bio-technology, it offers MSc in Biotechnology.
