What you mean by best of four marks

Actually the best of four marks mean the top four subjects in which you have scored more marks.
Suppose you score card is as follows:
English- 69
Hindi- 87
Maths- 86
Physics- 75
Chemistry-78
If the rules simply say best four marks then they will exclude English from counting as its the last in the list.
but some some organisations or colleges make paticular subject compulsory. If english is there compulsory subject the they will include it and will exclude physics.

Actually best of four marks means of you have given four times a paper so during final consideration the best of that four marks will be taken. Or it is also possible that the best marks in any of the 4 subject.
