Both have good placement but in case of infrastructure and facility LPU is better than any other University. What ever the people say about the university I don't want to blame anyone for what they are saying I just want to say as I am a student of LPU I am very much proud of what LPU is giving to us in terms of every exposure a professinal must get.

Keeping in mind the  competition prevalent today here not much difference in the private and government universities. The academic environment of the campus; be it classroom teaching, teaching pedagogy adopted by the faculty, infrastructure, security of students and staff as well, central library, and the like.The campus believes in the holistic development of the students; be it academically or extracurricular or co-curricular. LPU also provide scholarships to the students on previous qualification or performance in sports and/or cultural and also on defense.

LPU is a good college for btech in cse stream. The infrastructure is good and well-maintained.  The classrooms are good. Then medical facilities are also available inside. The hostels are good. You would enjoy living there.The placements at LPU are almost unexpectable. Someone gets a really good package while some get very less, it depends upon your portfolio and the interview. Mostly, the interviews matter a lot. If you did well over there you will definitely get a good job. Recently in the Amazon placement drive, 15-16 students got a package in the range of 11-16 lakhs and it's a good package. But at the same point, there are some companies who took the students at the package of 2.5-3.5 lakhs. There will be many placement drives conducted by Tech Mahindra, Samsung, Koni Labs, Hitachi, Honda and many more. It depends on how you perform.

Hey aspirant, LPU is a really good private college with average placement records. But there a lot better colleges available than LPU if you wanna study Computer engineering.

I would suggest that you must look for good government colleges rather than private colleges. NITs and Various IIITs are the best colleges for studying CSE and IT with really good faculty support.
