which basic things needed before takeing admission in B Sc I.T in India?
Hello aspirant
If you want to pursue BSC IT the foremost thing is you should be from PCM stream ie maths Subject is compulsory . If you would be a biology student ,you won't be eligible for BSC IT. Secondly if possible choose IT as vocational subject in xi STD. You should have passed STD xii with PCM subjects and with minimum 50% aggregate marks. However admission is based in xii board marks and merit list is based on maths subject marks so your maths should be strong.
Hello Niranjan,
I would say, there is no such big requirements. You need to have passed your 12th standard from science or commerce stream with Maths as a compulsory subject.
Though minimum of 50% marks satisfies the criteria, but the more is your percentage, the better chance you stand for a good college.
I hope this helps you!
Hey!
B. Sc in Information Technology is an undergraduate course with 3 years duration. And eligibility criteria for taking admission in this course is that candidate must have qualified 10+2 from recognised board with science stream including maths, physics and chemistry. And must have secured minimum 50% marks in maths. Also, some colleges conduct an entrance exam for bsc IT, and admissions are based on 10+2 marks and rank of entrance exam.
Thank you
