UPSE might be good university but my views are for LPU because it provides lots of opportunities in all ways. The academic programmes of LPU are different from the other universities. The students are given more encouragement to participate in various activities and the university is there to exhibit the student's talents. International Exposure, World class Students, good mix of Techno-Cultural and socio-cultural events to bring out the best in students. The campus is well-equipped with the latest technologies with high-tech support. Moreover, the college has great link-ups with international universities.
About the placements, the overall placements in LPU are excellent . Every year students got placed in different companies on good profile and packages. Due to high chance of placements, LPU always encourages us to work hard to avail the good opportunity.

LPU, Jalandhar is one of the best university without any second thought. If you are looking for a good university with genuine placements, good academia and expert faculty, go for LPU Jalandhar, as it has a very good placement record amongst all.

I have 16 years of experience as an educator in some of the top universities of the Country! All I can say is B.Tech is a highly in demand program these days. The right way is to compare the colleges on the following parameters:
- Curriculum : If at all the curriculum is continuously upgraded and developed with consultations and feedback of industry. Since it is a highly dynamic field, you cant afford a program which is stuck in obsolete technologies and syllabi.
- Pedagogy : The teaching pedagogy forms the backbone of how the program is delivered, more the practical, better it is. Maximum exposure to practicals and internships more chances of becoming a well rounded professional.
- Technology: The businesses and the business functions are now highly tech driven, the tech program must have the exposure and training of the same. The world leading technologies like SAP, GitHub, Advance excel etc are must for any professional to succeed in career.
- Industry interface: Ultimately its the industry which is going to immerse the students in the placements, the regular industrial talks, interactions, lectures, visits and internships are must have in any tech program.
- Professional etiquette: It is the most important part these days, the personality, ethics, virtuous, speech, body language, interpersonal skills etc are given high importance in the organisations. The program must include the training or modules on all these.
