Both the institutes are doing well but,
Lovely professional University is achieving its own Shine regularly at a higher pace be it academic, research, technology, exposures (both national and international),placements, accreditation,Curriculum Rigor and of course a conducive and diversified campus environment to live in. I am saying this because My cousin brother is pursuing http://B.Sc (http://b.sc/) (Hons)Agriculture from LPU itself. He told Lovely Professional University has become India's first private university to get ICAR accreditation due to getting one of the highest Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) Rating of 3.42/4, among all Universities.

LPU has made a good name for itself in a short span of time by working hard for its students in terms of education, faculty, placements, infrastructure, etc. It works for the overall development of its students.
Its main aim is to provide students with ample exposure both in the form of theoretical and practical knowledge for which there is much emphasis on workshops, live projects etc along with class room teaching. The university has made quality education possible for all by providing good scholarships under different categories.

Without any doubt, LPU is the best option for Agriculture. LPU becomes India’s first Private University to get ICAR Accreditation. CU is not ICAR accredited. ICAR co-ordinates agricultural education and research in the country under the aegis of the Department of Agricultural Research & Education (DARE), Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare (Government of India), where Union Minister of Agriculture is its President.

Hope this helps...
Hi,
LPU is well known for its B.Sc(Hons) Agriculture course. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. Ds and provide full support to the students. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot. In this stream as most of the work is fieldwork, there every student is allocated a separate piece of land to perform their tasks in the supervision of the staff.
If I talk about placements, University provides separate placement oriented classes, and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etcetera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms.
Thanks

Both of the universities are good at their own place. Here you need to do the comparison . A good university is the one where is good faculty, infrastructure, placements, events etc. By comparing these features you can take the decision. You can visit to websites of both or can visit to campus. One of my known is in LPU in the same course. Reviews are pretty good. But you need to be wise. Take your decision by yourself.
LPU is best private University to purse B.Sc (http://b.sc/) (Hons) Agriculture. (http://agriculture.as/) if you are looking for quality education and good placements along with learned faculty work hard on you to get you placed in the best of the companies, then LPU is the place for you to go for. LPU’s school of Agriculture has ICAR approval. Students who have passed out from LPU have got jobs in various departments and states.
Now, these were just some of the few advantages of LPU but there is much more good to say about LPU like it’s infrastructure, study environment, placements, cultural programs and what not, I can definitely say that LPU would be worth joining.
Choosing where to study and which University you should go,is one of the most decision you will make.
Both the Universities are good but Between Graphic Era or LPU, I would always prefer to choose LPU. I will tell you why? My cousin is studying at LPU so I would like to share her experience with you all

Dear Aspirant, i heard that LPU has got ICAR acceradation and become india's first private university to achieve it. Well, its not easy to achieve it, there are certain rules and regulations in terms of quality, placement records labs, equipments etc. a university has to meet to get this. So as per my view LPU is a good choice.
In my perspective, I gave my vote to LPU for Bsc in agriculture as one of my cousins graduated in this course from LPU and I will highlight some of the features.
1. LPU is the first private University to get ICAR accreditation.
2. The faculty is well qualified and most of them are Ph. Ds and provide full support to the students.
3. The best thing is the University does not compromise with the academics as all the lectures are held and if a faculty wants a leave either the makeup lectures are planned or adjustments are provided for that particular slot.

5. University provides additional placement oriented classes and students also studied subjects like analytical skills, soft skills, etcetera as part of the curriculum to prepare the students for all types of competitive exams. I would like to name a few companies that visit LPU- Nestle, VLCC Health Care, HDFC, Rallis India, and many other firms.

This program equips students with all-round knowledge of sector and normally includes the following: Agronomy: Basics of Agronomy, Kharif and Rabi Crop, Crop Protection, Weed Management, Irrigation Techniques, Water Resource Management, Organic Farming, Sustainable Agriculture.
I am not aware about Graphic Era, but few of my friends have studied B.Sc Agriculture from LPU and currently they are doing quite well. So, I will share details about LPU.
LPU has Hons program in same as B.Sc (Hons) Agriculture, which is a 4 year course in total. LPU is the first private university to get the ICAR accreditation , not only this LPU has allocated a specific land for the practical growth and learning of agriculture students within the campus.

Every university is doing good for his students. So its difficult to say which one is best. But yes, there are certain parameters to compare to select the best. LPU has ICAR accreditation for his agriculture courses. No other private university has this accreditation.
Let me clear first what is the meaning of ICAR. ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is an accreditation from the Central ministry of India related to study of agriculture which is given to those universities who are the best for this field means, if a university have all the resources in terms of labs, fields, well qualified and experienced staff and faculty, hi Tech labs, research background etc. Then this affiliation is given to only that university. It is very difficult for a university to meet the standards of ICAR. LPU is the first private university to be granted The Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) accreditation by Ministry of Agriculture due to their excellency in the study of agriculture. Doing any course related to agriculture from ICAR accredited means you have all the skills and you are aware of all the tools and methods required for agriculture. This will help you for your career in private and government sector. So, dear student this the importance of ICAR. I hope this information will help you to understand the concern. Good Luck for your career.

Choosing a college or University, lot of factors considered like ranking, infrastructure, curriculum, pedagogy, Faculty and most important placements. Graphic Era and LPU both are the renowned names in the Education Sector and both the institutes have their own place. But if talk of Placements, being a student of LPU i can say that, LPU is the one of the top name. LPU is not only good for placements but also known for its best infrastructure, innovative pedagogy, Industry focused Academics, industry tie ups. Renowned companies like Amazon, Cognizant, Bosch, Capgemini, Trident, Hitachi, Josh, Xerox, CTS, Verizon, Tech Mahindra come for the campus recruitment. LPU alumni working with top fortune companies like Google, Apple, Yahoo, Microsoft, Bank of America etc. With packages of over 1 Crore. So I strongly recommend the LPU over graphic era.

I have not heard about the Graphics Era, but i know about the LPU. As per my knowledge, LPU is the first private university to be granted with Indian Counsil for Agriculture Research accreditation by the Ministry of Agriculture. After going through the LPU website i dig up that B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, M.Sc. Ag. (Genetics & Plant Breeding), M.Sc. Ag. (Agronomy) and M.Sc. Ag. Horticulture (Fruit Science) programmes are accredited to ICAR .
Moreover , School of Agriculture, LPU has well equipped labs, lecture rooms, excellent Agriculture farm facility to conduct agricultural experiments. The main focus of the school is to provide the practical approach towards the learning.
School of Agriculture has good placement record also. Students of School of Agriculture are placed in Dhanuka, HDFC Bank, Reliance retail, Syngenta, Bio Seed, Nestle, Smur Agro, VLCC, Virbac, Amazon, Sanra organics and many more.
I have not heard much about Graphic era so you can search about it in the website or wait for someone else's opinion but as LPU is concern I can tell you a little bit about it as few of my friends studied from there. The basically were in management and engineering background but we had common friends who were from agriculture too.
School of Agriculture of Lovely Professional University is the first private school accredited by Indian Council of Agricultural Research.School of Agriculture offers programs with up to date curriculum designed to suits the aspirations of agricultural industries as well as major research and development sectors. The school offers world class equipped laboratories, library and faculty for one to one assistance. Special emphasis is given to students for hand on training experience by assigning live projects (Agricultural work) in university agricultural research farms and experiential learning on different agricultural units.
Due to ICAR accreditation large number of companies are visiting the campus.
More than 44 renowned firms and industries are on board for on campus and off campus drive in 2018-19.
Around 90% of the students got placed
For more information you can check the website.
Both the colleges are good at their part. My cousin studied in LPU. So, i can say that LPU is better as it provides better opportunities to its students for placements and internships and offers great industrial exposure to the students.
LPU focuses on the overall growth of the students which makes it different from all the other universities as students well being is the top most priority here.
As per University website, Bsc Agriculture course is approved by ICAR. LPU is the first private university to get ICAR accrediation which makes it more valuable.
Hey!
Both the Universities are good at their own place. But Graphic Era has an edge over Lovely Professional University. For B.Sc. agriculture, Graphic Era is better than LPU. It offers better course structure, faculty members and placements. Though the infrastructure of LPU is better than Graphic Era.
Hope this answer helps!
