A very broad question to answer but let me try my best. A good college experience comprises of a lot of different things including good education, research opportunities, extra and co-curricular activities, a good crowd, college festivals, opportunities to get a job etc. So, have a look at the points below:

· Education: This is something which is very subjective to every student. And again it depends a lot on the department you belong to but every department in PES University has its gems who can change the way you perceive academics and education. call 7 6 7 6 0 8 0 0 0 8 for admission. This happened to me in my Algorithms class during my second year. But there are some teachers whose way of teaching may not exactly match your expectations, so the point here is to remain open minded and not to have any assumptions. It also depends a lot on how seriously you take your academics when you are in college. Students who have some actual interest in learning something are always noticed by the teachers. You may meet a lot of classmates who will keep criticising the college and the way it works but I would advise you to stay away from such people or you are going to become one of them. Everyone’s work with what they have instead of complaining about everything around them.

· Crowd: There is a good balance of north and south Indian crowd. You are going to find people from all over India. You might find some Indians who were living in Dubai, Qatar and some other countries. It is a nice place to familiarize yourself with different kinds of people who blend in together like a family. Below is a broad categorisation of the behaviours that I have found across the students:

Festivals: PES University hosts Aatmatrisha as its two day main techno-cultural event in March which I would say is a decent celebration including lot of different events followed by a concert on the second day. Apart from this, an annual marathon named samarpana run is hosted and all the fund raised is donated to families of Indian army’s martyrs. A lot of other events including an annual science fest and an inter-departmental festival called prakalpa is also organized.

According to my point of view PES university is better overall as it gives you better exposure.They are having better placement,faculty and good infrastructure.
Highest package offered is 24 lac, the minimum package offered: 3.3 lac (TCS), avg salary: 5 lac/year. Placements are common for both the campus, students from both the campus will have opportunities.
