Still there are some universities, which I would not ;like to name, which were the bests but with passage of time they have moved slow.

I have found LPU always in the news for various feats. Like it was recently in the news that a BTEch student bagged a 42LPA from Microsoft. LPU received the National Employabilty 2020 award for Best Placements. The NIRF 2020 ranking considers LPU among the top 100 universities including the IITs.

The placement drives conducted by giant techs are approximately 900 and 700+ companies have recruited the students of LPU. The top notch companies recruit LPU students.

The students are well trained in the niche technologies of SAP, Google, Oracle.

The placement department of LPU is the biggest in India. It works in a dedicated manner to see that students are recruited by the MNCs. The pre-placement classes start right from the beginning of the course. Many mock drives are conducted.

As far as ranking is concerned the most authentic one considered is the Official MHRD Ranking (National Institutional Ranking Framework, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India): MHRD, National Institute Ranking Framework (NIRF) In 2016, KIIT university got 32nd rank .In 2017, KIIT University got 47th rank and now in 2018,KIIT ranks 42nd position.

Every private universities has students who come through donatation but here ,the number is way less than other private engineering colleges .The fee structure of KIIT is also less.In overall comparison KIIT is a good university which has transparent system of education .

Electricity facility, Wi-Fi, Campus Security, transport facilities, shopping complex, water supply, cafeteria, restaurant, indoor and outdoor games, medical facilities are available inside the campus. Hostel rooms are fine and clean. There are single, double, triple rooms available. It is quite spacious to make you feel comfortable.

Placements: B.Tech has a dedicated Training & Placement wing at LPU. The University assists placement of every successful student at the entry level with a suitable remuneration package plus liberal perks in the Companies. The University has always enjoyed a special preference amongst the best recruiters on account of its excellent performance sustained over a long period of time and its strong brand image. Lots of career organizations are promoted by the department and we are encouraged to sign up to these for extra advice and information. The best thing about the teaching of this course is that it is research-led. The lecturers have done and doing research, so this really enhances their teaching. I like the fact that some of the lecturers encourage us to engage during lectures and discuss issues that arise in the subject they're teaching. It would be great if more lecturers did this. Time to time various events are organized in the university like workshops, science quiz and many more events which explore the student’s knowledge. You should learn your subjects properly. There are various training programs organized by the college, which focuses on project development. One should do training or internship in vacations. The amount of exposure I have received, I’m sure none of the engineering graduates anywhere else have received. I have participated in 3-4 international competitions.

Hello Hritam, I would suggest you choose KIIT over LPU because some of my friends study there and they have given very good feedback. KIIT is the best option KIIT is a deemed university and it has good placements as compared to LPU . One of my friends from the CS department just secured an off-campus internship in Amazon India for 2 months at 40,000/month. KIIT charges high fees than LPU but it will be worth it.
