    The Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Deemed University) offers many courses in the field of engineering, management, basic science among others. Admission to all the courses in the university is through the entrance exam conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham. To apply for admission in Amrita University, candidates have to fill the online application form and qualify the entrance exam. Amrita University conducts entrance exams in May/June at different cities of the country. The entrance exams are conducted on different dates for every course. AEEE is conducted for engineering admissions. Candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible for admission in Amrita University. The allotment of seats is through online counselling based on candidate score in the entrance exam.

    The process of admission in the Amrita University is simple and concise. To get a seat, candidates have to follow the given steps

    Step 1- Fill Amrita University Application Form:- The application form of Amrita University is released online on the official website amrita.edu. Interested candidates have to fill the online application form and submit it before the last date. In online application, candidates have to fill basic information, upload a photo, signature and pay application fee.

    Step 2- Appear in Amrita University Entrance Exam:- Candidates who fill the complete application form within specified time will be issued admit cards to appear in the entrance exam. Details about the exam centre, exam date and time will be provided in the admit card. Candidates have to appear in the exam as per their date and time.

    Step 3- Participate in Counselling Process:- Candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible for admission into university, subject to fulfilling the eligibility criteria. The allotment of seats will be through online counselling. Candidates have to register online for the counselling and seats will be allotted based on candidates score in the Amrita University entrance examination.

    Step 4- Submit Fees and Start College:- Candidates who will be allotted a seat will be required to submit the course fees within the specified time. Candidates will be admitted upon fee submission and can attend the course thereon.

    There is a management quota you can join only if you have given a written eligibility test conducted by Amrita University. Without an entrance exam, chances are very less. Selection of seats in this quota is mostly done based on board marks.

    As per you query , A rough estimation based on previous selections rank less than 6k will get cse , ece in amrita coimbathore and other amrita campuses. Based on your percentile your rank will be 20k to 30k or more than

    Talking about Amrita School of Engineering and any North -eastern NITs, NITs are far much better options than any of the private engineering Institutes .

    So according to my opinion any NIT is much better than any private institutes because NITs haev good Infrastructures , good facilities
