Admission Details
The Candidate Qualifying in IMU CET or IIT-JEE/any State-level Engineering Entrance Examination (minimum of 40 Percentile score).
Admissions will be based on the rank in the admission test, conducted for the purpose. Selected candidates will have to undergo remedial courses as decided by the University.
Eligibility Criteria
(a) Pass in 12th Standard examination with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as separate subjects with a PCM average of not less than 60%.
(b) The candidate must have secured a minimum 50% marks in the English language in the 10th or 12th standard exam (As per DGS Norms).
Relaxation of 5% in English marks will apply to candidates who are natives of the Lakshadweep and Andaman & Nicobar Islands and belong to their Scheduled Tribes and who & both of whose parents were born in those islands & belong to the Scheduled Tribes of those islands. For SC/ST candidates: There will be a 5% relaxation in the eligibility marks of PCM; however, it will not apply to English Marks.
Note: The candidate must have passed the 10th and 12th standards from a recognized board.
The minimum eligibility for SEBC candidates to be considered under reservation quota (belonging to Kerala State) for admission to B. Tech is 45% for Mathematics and 45% for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together in the qualifying examination. Of the total seats for B.Tech. (Self-financing) 50% are free seats, 40% payment and 10% are NRI payment seats.
