For admission into the courses offered by the VIT University, the candidates are required to appear and qualify the entrance examination. Every year, the university conducts entrance exams for admission into the UG and PG courses. The VIT University admission 2021 to BTech and MTech programme are offered through VITEEE and VITMEE, while for admission to other programmes, the admission are done on the basis of exams like NATA and CAT.
The admission process at VIT University is as follows:
Selection is based on the rank secured through the Computer Based Test / Qualifying exam mark.
Selected candidates will be called for online / onsite counselling based on their ranking.
Eligible Candidates may select a specific campus and programme during the counselling.
After payment of full fees classes will be conducted online / reporting in person to the Institution.
Candidates are expected to prove their genuineness on joining.
The first step to get admission into VIT University is to fill and submit the online application form. The authorities have started the VIT admission process. Candidates have to fill the VIT application form 2021 by entering all the required details and uploading of necessary documents. Payment of the application fee also has to be done.
After the conclusion of the application process, the authorities will issue the hall tickets to all the registered candidates. The hall ticket will be made available at the official website of VIT University. Note that the admit card is a mandatory document to appear into the entrance exam.
Next, candidates will have to appear in the entrance exam as per the schedule.
Based on the marks obtained in the entrance exam, the authorities will call the candidates for the counselling and seat allotment process. After completing the counselling process which includes steps like registration, and verification of document, the seats will be allotted.
Finally, all the seat allotted candidates will be required to pay the relevant admission fees at the campus to confirm their admissions.

you should have minimum 60% in your 12th class aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology. Aim to get minimum 115 marks in viteee so you are in safe zone to get admission in VIT Vellore.

You should aim for a VITEEE rank below 50,000 to 55,000 and marks around 60 or more out of 120, this can generally get you close to that rank.
