divya 10th Oct, 2021

Hello,

Congratulations on getting such good college and branch options. I will give you a preference list which will comprise of all these factors:

  • Overall ranking
  • Infrastructure
  • Location/accessibility
  • Branch that you are been offered(Core/interdisciplinary)
  • Placement opportunities
  • Industry Exposure

The preference order you should consider is:

  1. ECE at NIT Srinagar
  2. EIE/EE at NIT Agartala
  3. ECE at NIT Manipur
  4. ECE at NIT Uttarakhand

I would also like to add here that an engineering course should be very much taken with an interest in the field so I would suggest you to consider that factor and if you are not aware of the branches mentioned look them up on the internet more reliable will be to go through the syllabus on the respective colleges' website. An interest in the field is the key factor in deciding how your $ years of college will be and what opportunities you will land for yourself.

Good luck, hope it helps!!

should i opt for CS in bits Pilani or electrical Engineering in IIT DELHI,OR Aerospace engineering in iit bombay or CS in iit BHU ,which is best career option ,I have passion for aerospace engineering, but every one is saying that it will not be wise to opt for aerospace engineering, please suggest

Vedang Ranmale 9th Oct, 2021

Hello student,

If you have a strong passion in Aerospace Engineering, you must surely follow that field. However, I would like to say that if you take aerospace now, there would be no turning back as it is a specialization field. Another alternative for you to reach aerospace industry is by doing B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and the Masters in Aerospace Engineering as it would then be safe for you as later if you want you can change your specialization stream. Also, an aerospace engineer from Top IIT's surely get lavishly paid and has immense respect in the industry.

I hope this helps, All the Best!

Sir i should pursue chemical in top 6 iit Or electrical in lower iit, Im also getting cse in nit nagpur?

Bhavesh gupta 8th Oct, 2021

Hello aspirant

hope you are doing well and safe. With reference to your query,  I would glad inform you that persuing chemical engineering from top 6 iit would be a better option as I always say to choose college over branch as brand value leads to more number of good companies in college and increase chances your placement . At placement student of all branches get equal number of opportunities ,recuriter sees your coding skills not your branch

Hope you found this answer informative. Best wishes for your future

im getting DTU EE as per previous year trend, i didnt belong to delhi. Should i go for it or i prefer some other mediocre NIT with same branch? or NIT rourkela or MNNIT chemical?

Anuj Kumar 8th Oct, 2021

Hi,

If you are getting in EE in DTU then you should go for it. DTU is better Institute than Newly established NITs. Also EE has better career opportunities than Chemical. DTU has good reputation and it will surely help you in placement times. You can also do research work there if you like. Even if you opt for higher studies, being from DTU would certainly help you .

I hope this will answer your query.

Thanks!!!!

Hi
I hope you are doing very well

EE is a good course. Tests are done 8 times in 4 years, and we have 2 masters a year. Not to mention that this is the easiest engineering course you can take.

A maximum of 40% placement is available at college. The highest package offered in college by 7 LPA is Josh Technology Group. Only farewell and refreshing parties are organized by students. The college has a strong placement cell full of all the needs and trained professionals. The college plays a major role in student placement. Various large companies coming to campus will be located, some of which are Infosys Technologies, Microsoft, Wipro etc.
