See, while selecting candidates for IIT and NITs they do look at your percentage in class 12 but give only some percent of priority to your marks and specific to that priority your marks are sufficient. Most important is JEE marks.

 I am very sorry to say you that it is really difficult to get IIT with this rank in any stream. Even though you wish to apply then you can apply for IIT Patna too as it's cutoff is low compared to other IITs.

As per your information, your probable general rank will be approximately between 21,865-23,465 and your category rank will be approximately around 4768-5768. Based on your category rank you can easily get into iit or any government college, but your choice of branch is not guaranteed in the IITs.

With this much score of 642 marks in ME general category in the GATE examination 2019, your chances of getting a good IIT or NIT is low. For getting a good IIT your gate score should be more than 700, same goes for NIT. You can get IITs

You can apply for MS/PHD at IITs .you can get that.You cannot get M.Tech at IITs ,because of your category.

Hello, sorry to say this but being in general of score 419 you can not go into any of the IIT's or NIT's as the score need to be a minimum of 550 for general. You need to get more than 600 for doing specialization (ECE) in M Tech in
