The criteria may vary college to college and if you want to get admission in Indian Maritime University then there is no such concession available as they only provide reduction for female candidates for all four programs like B.Tech (Marine Engg),B.Sc. (Nautical Science),B.Sc.(Maritime Science) and DNS.

I would suggest you to give IMUCET as most of the universities accept its score like Tolani Maritime University and there is one more exam which you can write i.e. CUSAT CAT as if you clear this exam then you will be eligible to get seat in Coachin University. Also, the online registratio for IMUCET will be started in the month of March and exam will be held in the month of May whereas CUSAT CAT will be releasing the forms tentatively in the second week of February 2018.
