iam a female candidate with 89percentile in jee mains 2025jan.can i get addmission in nit Rourkela with home state cota.

kumardurgesh1802 15th Feb, 2025

Hello there,

With 89 percentile in JEE Mains 2025, as a female candidate with home state quota for NIT Rourkela, your chances for core branches like CSE, ECE, and IT are low, but you may get lower branches like Civil, Metallurgy, or Chemical Engineering. Admission depends on cutoff trends, seat availability, and category. Keep backup options ready.

I would recommend you to use JEE Mains College Predictor Tool by Careers360 to get the list of possible colleges you can get with your rank or percentile.

I hope this answer helps you. If you have more queries then feel free to share your questions with us we will be happy to assist you.

Hey folk,

Hope you are fine.

Getting the cutoff marks for the mechanical engineering for the csab round of the nit rourkela will be too early to get. You can check the previous year cutoffs and the opening and closing ranks of the various courses and the programs by visiting the official website of the csab and then checking the required details.

The cutoff generally depend on a variety of factors like the difficulty level of the examination and the number of students appeared for the examination.

Also, you can take help of our official college predictor which can help you in finding the best matched colleges according to your rank and score secured in the jee exam. You can take the help of that link and know about the colleges from there.

i have scored 93.84%ile in jee mains (CRL-93586 and obc ncl rank -29k). can i get into nit rourkela (home state). if i get, then which branch should i expect

Lalit Kumar 8th Nov, 2024

Dear

According to the information based on your rank, it is possible to get admission into NIT Rourkela, especially since you are from the home state. However, the exact branch you get will depend on the cutoff ranks for each branch and the availability of seats.

For 2024, the cutoff ranks for NIT Rourkela B.Tech programs vary by branch. For example, the cutoff for the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch is around 7807 for General category male students. Since your rank is 29,000, you might have a better chance at securing a seat in branches with lower cutoff ranks.

You can try College predictor for getting surety of your college admission.

Thanks.
