First of all the eligibility criteria for appearing for NEET varies with respect to category when it comes to ST category then you need 40% aggregate in physics, chemistry and biology, which is marks should be around 120. Taking your marks into consideration it is not enough for you

If I am not wrong, BEnnett University provides BTech in Engineering Physics while CU provides Physics Hons.

After BTech you will probably want to get placed or qualify GATE and go for MTech after which if you want to enter research field you will have to go for PhD

Yes, you can definitely do that. If you're going for B.sc, just the aggregate of physics, chemistry, maths/biology is taken into account.
