When we look into previous year pattern,Closing rank for general surgery is around 8000. This could vary. So probability for getting seat to general surgery for 15,146 rank is low. You will get seat anaesthesia, pathology ,radiotherapy. You will get admission for other preclinical and paraclinical subjects. Or you can get admission in private or deemed colleges. For Bangalore Medical College, for sessions 1 and 2, the closing Rank 2019 was 2511 and 3512.
The closing rank for 2020 was around 4.5k.

With the PLAB exam, applicants can pursue a postgraduate degree in the United Kingdom after completing their MBBS in India. It's a requirement for GMC registration, which is required in the UK medical system. It's a certification exam that determines your eligibility for registration with the General Medical Council (GMC). It does not award a degree. It solely registers GMC applicants. The PLAB is conducted in 2 parts- PLAB 1 and PLAB 2.
Kindly note that IELTS exam is compulsory with a minimum score of 7.5.
