Definitely yes, student passing P.G. from any distance and open university are completely eligible for this UGC-NET exam. Apart from this, Candidates who have secured at least 55% marks (without rounding off) in Master’s Degree OR equivalent examination from universities/institutions recognised by UGC are eligible for this Test. Candidates who are pursuing their Master''s degree or equivalent course are also eligible.

Universities offering distance education courses are regulated by UGC (University Grants Commission).

Candidates must check the list of UGC Approved Universities before taking admission.

According to the UGC Approved University list, candidates who completed their P.G. course through Netaji Subhas Open University will be eligible to appear in UGC NET Exam . As Netaji Subhas Open University comes under the approved universities by UGC.
