To be honest, I wasn't great in school, but with dedication and hard effort, I was able to get an 8+ CGPA (We also need to focus on other aspects apart from academics, work on some good projects, your communication skills and of course Aptitude, etc).

Now for the moment that you've all been waiting for: on August 26, 2015, I was employed by Deloitte (Big 4) for a very good package. The university was visited by the second company. I was giddy with excitement and delight! It didn't end there; I also had offers from Cognizant, Wipro, Byju's, and NCR Corporation (where I interned during my eighth semester) before landing at Deloitte USI.

According to what I've heard, they now have approximately 2k students in CSE alone, compared to roughly 300 during my time. As a result, competition has increased, but because the number of companies visiting the university is increasing at a similar rate, a hardworking student shouldn't be concerned. Overall, I believe it is safe to conclude that if you work hard enough and are enthusiastic about your field, you will be given numerous opportunities to interview with major MNCs. It would also be remiss of me to close this piece without mentioning ' Mr Pradeep Bansal,' the person who taught us Quantitative Aptitude. In 2015, he joined as the Head of Career and Placements Department and taught us Quantitative Aptitude, and I believe he is currently the Deputy Director of the University's Training and Placement Cell. He was my mentor for all of my placement-related questions, and he even helped me and my friends secure a private meeting room for our GD practise, as well as a soft skills trainer to assist us, on an ad hoc basis.Also, it would be inappropriate of me to end this post without mentioning the one person who taught us Quantitative Aptitude, ‘Mr Pradeep Bansal'. He joined as a Head of Career and Placements department and taught us Quantitative Aptitude himself in 2015 and i believe he is now the Deputy Director of Training and Placement cell of the University. He was my mentor for all my placement related doubts and he even helped me and my friends get a personal meeting room for our GD practice on an ad hoc request along with a soft skills trainer to help us. Total offers made on campus is 6314 with Rs. 31.77 LPA being the highest package

offered ,Recenly  45 LPA package was offered for BE CSE  and avg package is 25LPA.

The average package is 25 LPA. the placements companies are from all the field and doing excellent.

My answer would be very frank rather pinching as that depends on your individual capabilities to convince and show your worth to be an employee in the placement company. So, the packages depends on your talent not the university. If you want an average number, during my college days for CSE students it was between 3–3.5 LPA but that was too replaced by the highest one 35lac/pa package with a student of CU. Just develop a little bit of awareness of what you want to do exactly and then approach anything I’d suggest. Do not run behind packages. Keep your concepts clean and keep working on it, you’ll eventually start earning a good amount. :)

If you know nothing like Jon Snow, you'll end up getting nothing.

If you know some, like basics of all the subjects you covered, you might end up getting a 3-3.5LPA package.

If your know better C language, algorithm and database you could get 4.5-5.5LPA package.

If you still know nothing but have a good communication skills and doesn't a technical job, there are companies which offer marketing and business development profile with a handsome package of 6LPA.

Now if you can do great with your technical skills and can impress SAP Labs, 9LPA is waiting for you.

There are companies which offer consultancy profile and offers 7.5 or more LPA to students with good academic background and good knowledge of the subjects and ofcourse communication skills.

If you think what are good at is communication skills and have a decent score at your academics then, IBM could be your destination with 3.5Lpa.

Google, Microsoft, Amazon, IBM, Mind-tree, Capgemini, HP, Dell, Wipro are some of the major and globally reputed recruiters at Chandigarh University.
2018 was a great year for Chandigarh University in terms of placements as it broke its own existing records. Around 500 companies visited the campus for placements and conferred around 5200 lucrative offers to the students. There were many students with not one but multiple placement offers. Talking specifically about CSE placements, the highest package offered here was 31.77 lacs in the recent placement session which was offered by Amazon and the average package offered to the students was 4.5 lacs.

The placements in Chandigarh university is very good. All the mnc's are coming for placements. More than 300 companies are coming every year for engineering only.

The average in cse branch is 5 to 8 Lpa. More than 80% students got placed from every   batch.

trust you are doing great according to the confirmed understudies surveys and rating alloted to the school ,we can say around 70-80 percent of the understudy get put in software engineering engineering.the most significant compensation offered is of 31 lacs for every annum,average is of 4 lacs for each annum and the least goes 2.5 lacs per annum.

Placements in Chandigarh University are good in the CSE and MBA. Both the courses are good here. Placement record is good in these two courses. But CU provides great opportunities for students. It depends upon the students how they grab the opportunities. Many brands come here for recruitment. But most of them are new start-ups. I am not very much sure about placements, but the average placement offered this year was 4 LPA, and the highest salary package offered was 30 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. Top companies like Amazon, TCS, Wipro, Ericsson, Oracle and Bluebirch are top recruiters of ur college.
