Admission to IIT Delhi or any other IIT for the B.tech course is done on the basis of marks in JEE Advanced exam.
JEE Main is the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced. On the basis of JEE Main rank, candidates can get a seat in NITs, IIITs and GFTIs.

No you can't take an admission in IIT using jee mains exam. If you rank low like below 1000 than you can go for top NITs. Or if less than 5000 for government college else private institute.
If you want to go for IIT then you have to go for jee advance and have to clear it with good marks. Getting an admission at IIT is a difficult work but gets easy with subject concepts.
So give your best and prepare accordingly.
