Can we expect a higher or a lower closing rank in wbjee counselling 2019?

My TFW rank is 12314. In wbjee 2019 counselling closing rank of bengal institute of engineering and technology is 26000. See the description

Hello Swagata Mandal.

Well , the thing is that the cutoff for round 1 were out today only and it has not become completely public yet, so i cant get conclusive answer to your question.

But as per my calculations last year the cutoffs went a little low as compared to the year 2017, so by the law of average the cutoffs should get a little high this year because the cutoffs for the year 2017 were around the average.

If you would have asked your question clearly then I could have answered it correctly. Howsoever as I presume there is no such notion. In WBJEE there is always higher closing rank but for majority time the vacancy factor works and hence the former increases. So hope you understand and best of luck to you.
