Can we take leaves in Lovely Professional University?
It is not permitted to take unnecessary leaves at LPU. It is important to prioritize academic responsibilities and adhere to the attendance policy to ensure academic success. LPU has a strict attendance policy, requiring a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible to sit for exams. While the university provides opportunities for students to enjoy college life, academic responsibilities are not compromised.
No, here, in LPU there is no such criteria to provide you temporary leave. If still you want to go on break you have to go on cost of your attendance. You have to maintain 75% attendance, otherwise you wont be allowed to sit in exam. In case of health issue you have to provide a medical certificate
Hi Venkat, you have to maintain 75 percent attendance record so it won't be advisable to take leave for a trivial reason. However, in case of sickness you can submit medial certificate and that would go in your favor only. Hope this helps. Good Luck

In case you have good percentage i.e., 90%+ attendance in a particular subject, then you will get 5 marks extra in that subject and other slabs comprises 85-90% for 4 marks and 80-85% for 3 marks an so on. Believe me! These marks can save you from bad grades. No medical certificates or any excuses is entertained. However, if the overall attendance is less than 75% then individual subject attendance is considered to sit in exams.

Moreover, the more classes you attend , the more you will get to learn and the better you will be able to perform in your exams.

Since LPU wants to ensure that maximum curriculum is delivered and absorbed by the student for his/her bright future, it has to remain strict towards this policy.
If you want to take a leave then it will be cost you attendance. You should submit a form in the college about the leave you are taking or if u want to take
It is suggested that you use this option only in the case of serious issues, you may get leaves but only after informing in your department.
