These are the category in Karnataka in which different castes belong to different categories.
The list of castes which come under OBC category (Cat 1, 2a, 2b, 3a and 3b) in Karnataka are:
Category 1: Agamudi
Category 2a: Ambalakaran
Category 2b: Ambalakarma
Category 3a: Hallikar
Category 3b:Baggaru
1 G stands for 1 general and GM is for general Merit and if you belong to general meritcategorythen kindly consider GM.
As per your question 1G stands for 1 general that means people who do not live in rural area or are from a High caste.
1r stands for 1 rural that means people who are from rural area or lower caste.
1k stands for 1 Kannada that means people who lives in Kannada.
The reservation percentages for each of these castes with respect to education and employment are
