FMS gives importance your academic background as well with CAT entrance exam so you must have good marks in graduation for getting admission in the FMS , and yes GD/PI also plays a most important role for getting admission because at this stage they try to know about youself your knowledge as well so sometimes if you have a good academic background and good percentile in CAT as well but if your GD/PI was not good so chances are less of getting admission.

From this year onwards, FMS is giving a relatively high weightage to academic profile which includes graduation marks as well. Hope this answers your question.
FMS, Delhi gives 60% weightage, 5% to 10th and 5% to 12th score, 10% to GD, 5% to extempore and 15% to personal interview.
