DU declares that maths need not be put in best of 4... How you are telling that maths will be included in best of 4??

Mathematics should be included for subjects where mathematics is relevant. For Example: Students who wish to seek admissions to the Honours programme in Economics and Commerce need to study and pass mathematics at the qualifying examination which clearly means that while calculation best of four for these two programmes mathematics will be a compulsory subject.  If you do not include relevant subjects in your best of four calculation a deduction of 2.5% will be made in the total percentage.

When it comes to B.Com and B.Com (Hons) Business Mathematics will be considered equivalent to Mathematics in the best of four calculation.
