Government IIT good or bits good for placement

It's totally depends on which NIT you are getting against BITS.

If you are getting lower NITs then you should go for BITS if you are getting top NITs like National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli you should select it.

If we check the NIRF ranking then below are the positions

National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli- 11th position

National Institute of Technology Rourkela- 12th position

Birla Institute of Technology & Science -Pilani- 16th position

Top NITs and BITS Pilani both are good and provides good placements.

Hi there!!!

It totally depends upon which IIT you are getting ,For example : if you are getting IIT'S like IIT BOMBAY than you should leave BITS and go for IIT (if you get the seven old IIT'S than go for IIT'S) but if you are getting new iit's like IIT Tirupati, IIT Jodhpur than you can go for BITS.
There is one more side of the coin (which is of Branch) for example : if you are interested in Computer science and you are getting Mechanical in good IIT'S and getting Cse in BITS than  in this case you can also go for BITS.
