Hi evry one, i m persuing clinical psychology from ignou.i just want to do law but don't decide apply for LLB or in LLM after graudation.
Dear Radha ,
Great that you have doubts and have asked a question. Further, it feels good that you are pursuing clinical psychology and are interested in bringing up a career in law domain.
Now coming to your doubt, let me explain a few things which might help you with clarifications and thus taking a good decision.
You see LL.B is an entry programme in the legal domain, as you can say it's an undergraduate programme of law. You need to be a graduate in order to be eligible for LLB admissions. Once you have an LL.B degree, you can further proceed to take a postgraduate (higher degree) in law, i.e., you may go for an LLM degree.
I hope your confusion regarding these two degrees are clarified and so now it stands clear that you'll first have to go for an LL.B degree.
Best of Luck!
I hope that your doubts are clear by now, or you can counter-question me as I'll be happy to clear them too.
Thank you.
Hey,
After your graduation, you can apply for three years LLB course to pursue law.
Here you'll find the list of law entrance exams after graduation and much more -:

So, you can apply for LLB not for LLM because LLM (Master of laws) is a postgraduate programme which can be done after completing LLB (Bachelor of laws).
Hope it helps!
Hi,
Glad to know that you have interest in law well for that you are eligable for LLM since after graduation you can do your llm. 50% criteria just to be met for doing llm, but if you want to know more about law then you can do llb. During your llb you can get to know more about law which will help you with your llm in future and also you also get more degree. Hope this was helpfull
Thank You
Good Luck
