Appear for CAT, score exceptionally well and you will get a call for the next rounds which is AWT(Academic Writing Test) and Personal Interview. Perform well in round 2 and you are likely to get admission.

You must be a graduate in any discipline to gain admission to IIMs and also qualify the nationally administered Common Admission Test (CAT), and subsequent rounds of personal interviews.

In order to apply for CAT, you must have 50 percent in your graduation. If you are in the final year of your undergraduate degree, you are eligible to apply for CAT. However, you will only get a provisional admission till you provide the mark sheets, confirming your degree.

IIM Ahmedabad selects students on the basis of their CAT scores, past academic performance and performance in the interviews.
