I can answer you well as my cousion is studying at LPU She told me LPU’s residential Facilities are indeed exceptionally well organised and maintained. The hostel administration here is very cooperative and caring. When it comes to Home like Healthy stay LPU’s residential Facilities are Number 1.

Facilities at hostels:

1.Separate residential facility for boys and girls within the campus

2. Rooms with attached washroom, bed (without mattress), table, chair and almirahs except in certain dormitory rooms.

3. Air cooler / Air Conditioner (with attached washroom) facility in each room (as opted)

i4. Arrangement for power supply through dedicated 24 hours hotlines

5. Geyser in each room to provide hot water in winters (scheduled timings) for two hours per room every day or as decided by the University.

Now coming on Wi-Fi facility, it is provided without any extra cost at LPU.Students have LAN ports at their hostel dorms for better connectivity. Internet connectivity for scheduled timings through a Wi-Fi system for academic purposes is available at the campus through the leased line of 650 Mbps. At LPU there are thousands of WiFi modems installed over the campus in hostels, in every block,library,gym and many other places.Students don'tneed to buy an independent dongle at any time for their usage rest it's own choice of students. They usually surf their notes on the internet and hardly find any buffering or inconvenience in its usage. LPU faculty,staff and students can work all day on the internet through campus Wi-Fi without any hassle.

The hostel rooms depend upon what kind of accommodation you take ! It is available from 4 seaters to exclusive apartments.

But some things common to all are beds, chairs, study tables, attached bathrooms, geysers, cooler/AC(dependent on your choice), 24 hour water supply, electricity, wifi internet etc.

The various facilities which this magnificent campus has for hostel students are:

• Laundry- There is an in-house laundry provided inside the campus which takes care of all the laundry services of students.

• Hospital- The university also has a hospital inside the campus which serves all medical facilities of students, staff and faculty. The hospital is provided with all well trained doctors taking care of any kind of medical treatment given to the students, staff and faculty.

• Gym & Yoga- The university has also provided gym and yoga facilities to the students of the college. All the gyms inside the campus are well equipped with air-conditioners, spa room, sauna bath, cardio, calisthenics, aerobics hall etc. All the gyms are also provided with well-trained trainers to provide guidance and train the students in keeping them fit and active.

• African Food Cafe- The African Food Cafe serves meals and snacks for the African students.

I stayed in LPU hostel during my Post graduation years and honestly those were the best days of my life. I made some amazing friends and had some amazing experiences.Being a Alumni of Lovely Professional University I can assure you that this university is safest for the girls.

The major concern of the parents is the security and safety of their children and LPU is well known for its security. Turnstiles gates are there at the entry of hostels so that no other person should enter the hostel.

I was staying with one more roommates.The rooms will be of two types-Air conditioned and Air cooler.2 Seater hostels rooms has 2 iron bed,2 Plastic Chair,2 almirah,geyser with attached washroom.

Our rooms were spacious, gave us privacy and also gave us space to hangout with friends and chit chat, do projects, spend movie nights and game on!

Apart from this they are providing other facilities also-

• Free internet connectivity through Wi-Fi system for scheduled timing for academic purposes only.
• In Campus Physiotherapy Clinic and Hospital with resident doctors and ambulances to provide medical assistance to students.

• Honestly I won’t lie about the mess at campus, because I myself took food for the first 6 months at the hostel mess until I explored other good places but there are so many people who actually like mess.The quality of food that we get in the mess is very good. One of the things that LPU does the best is that is regularly checks the food quality and any complain about the food is dealt with immediately.Everyday Food menu gets changed.I had some friends from Kerala,Andra Pradesh,Telangana so they were provided south indian food and I am found of Idli,vada,dosa so sometimes we used to shared the foods also.
• Study room, TV room, Saloon, Photocopy Machines, Departmental store for daily needs, Cafeteria, vending Machine (soft drinks), Lifts and Parking facility.Indoor and outdoor games facility.
• There are so many places at Campus for out door games and as well as indoor games. Some are campus properties and some are vendor properties (game parlors) where you’ll have to pay to play. Everything is fun wherever you fit in yourself.
• You will get each and every facility inside the campus like Study room, TV room, Saloon, Photocopy Machines, Departmental store for daily needs, Cafeteria, vending Machine (soft drinks), Lifts and Parking facility,so why to move out.
• You can't carry alcohol and smoking products inside the campus and hostels. Because security guards are the king and if you're found involved in such activities, you will get into trouble. Your attendance will be blocked for a month and if you'll not be able to make it 75%, you can't write exams. You scholarship will be cancelled and you have to pay a huge amount of money every semester as tution fee.

Being a girl. I must say that Lovely Professional University is one of the best university. For security purpose it is very reliable for the girls students. It also contributes the gratification to the parents as well because we are living far away from our homes.The major concern of the parents is the security and safety of their children and LPU is well known for its security. This University have stringent security measures and is Guarded by highly dedicated Security male and Female Guards deputed all around the premises.This University have Centralized Security Control Room with 4500+ CCTV cameras all around the university.

• Other than this if any girl faces any issues regarding anything that she faces, she can file a complain of the RMS, against that particular issues or person, strict actions are taken immediately by the authorities. Other than this, in case of emotional breakdowns, there are happiness cells available in the university where anyone can go and discuss their problems.

Each and every facility you will get inside the campus so why to move out. I would prefer Hostel instead of PG’s.

Hello sravan.harsha2 , Standard Rooms at LPU hostels are arrangements like lodges where students can live in a shared 4/ 3/ 2/ 1-seater room with the option of having the room Air Cooled or Air-Conditioned Ventilation. And if we talk about the wifi then the speed is nearly above good near academic blocks but in hostels, the speed depends on the time. From 5 pmto 11 pm the speed will be nearly around 100 kbps & from 11pm to 2am the speed will go up. In University 99% students use laptops so the internet speed depends on the no of students usage.
