However, occasional instances of theft, harassment, or altercations may happen, usually late at night or outside of campus areas, much like at any large public university. While DU's broad campuses necessitate greater individual vigilance, JNU is more restricted and residential. Though awareness is crucial, they are often not very dangerous.
