Below are the criteria of admission o students at Sastra university:
- For SASTRA University B. Tech Admission, 70% of the seats will be allotted to the candidates based on their JEE Main performance and their performance in 12th standard, conducted by various boards across India.

- Seat Allotment for the rest 30% seats will be done on the basis of candidates’ normalized aggregate marks in class 12.
