How to get admission in thapar university for b. Tech .

There are certain criterias that need to be satsfied if you want to get admission into and undergraduate course, namely B-Tech in your case, in Thapar University:

1. 10+2 with 60%marks and 55% for SC/ST

2. At least 20% marks in JEE Main (15% for SC/ST)

OR

1. 10+2 with at least 80% marks (75% for SC/ST) aggregate in Physics, Mathematics and any one of- Chemistry, Biology or Computer Science

2. 15% marks in JEE Main (10% for SC/ST)

For the admission of PG course (M.tech) in Thapar institute of engineering and technology,students can fill the application form available online as the late date for filling the form is 30th June 2019.Students who are applying for GATE OR TIET have to fill TIET form however ,but students who qualify GATE exam need not to write entrance test.

Admissions will be offered on the basis of merit of gate or tiet score .And the eligibility criteria for same is candidates have to secure minimum of 60 percentage aggregate in their qualifying exam and candidates with gate scores will be given more preference than non gate candidates.Hope this information is helpful.Good luck !
