Hello Subbu, Since you belong to Andhra Pradesh, you have to apply under Other State Candidates. In all, there are 50 seats ( including 1 seat for Kashmir Migrant) available for B.E/ B.Tech courses in this category. Also, there are two additional seats for B.Arch candidates. The minimum qualifying marks for admission through TNEA is 50 % marks for General category (40% for SC/ST). You are therefore eligible to apply. Admission to B.E/B.Tech seats will be based on marks obtained by the candidate in qualifying examination; however, the total marks would be reduced to 200 ( Mathematics - 100, Physics+ Chemistry =100). This means, marks obtained in mathematics will carry double the weightage of the other two subjects taken individually. Regards.
