ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR NON-KERALITE-1:
The candidates who are not Kerala origin and even their parents also don’t have any residence proof of Kerala, but satisfying the following candidates:
- Passed their qualifying examination from Kerala and Parents are posted in Kerala and employee of defense or central government.
- The candidates whose parents are serving/served Kerala Government for a period of 2 years and appearing/appeared qualifying examination from Kerala will come in this category and eligible for applying.
- In case, if the candidate is not the permanent resident of Kerala but spent 5 years of his/her study in Kerala then he/she is also eligible.
- Those who do not have domicile certificate of Kerala but completed/pursuing their 8th to 12thstudies from Kerala are also eligible for KEAM 2019.
ELIGIBILITY FOR NON-KERALITE-||
- Those who do not fall under Keralite or Non-Keralite-1 will come under Non-Keralite Category II. This category candidate are eligible for admission to Government seats and Management quota seats in Engineering courses in Government Controlled Self financing Colleges.
- These candidates are also eligible for admission to Government Seats and Management Quota seats in Private Self Financing Engineering/Architecture Colleges.
- ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates are not eligible for admission to Medical and Allied Courses including MBBS/BDS and for admission to Government Engineering Colleges.
AGE CRITERIA
The minimum age required for KEAM 2019 is 17 years. The candidates who have completed 17 years of age as on the 31st December 2019 are eligible for applying. There is no upper age limit for KEAM 2019 examination.
STEPS TO FILL THE FORM:
- Registration
- filling the application form
- pay the application fee for SC 300 and General 700
- Upload the documents
KEAM : NEET UG is compulsory for medical admission.

You do not fall under Keralite or Non-Keralite and hence come under Non-Keralite Category II. This category candidate are eligible for admission to Government seats and Management quota seats in Engineering courses in Government Controlled Self financing Colleges. Besides this, Non-Keralite Category II candidates are eligible for applying to Government Seats in Government Controlled Self Financing Engineering Colleges only when the Keralite and Non-Keralite I (NK I) candidates are not available for admission. These candidates are also eligible for admission to Government Seats and Management Quota seats in Private Self Financing Engineering/Architecture Colleges. NK II candidates are also eligible for admission to a maximum of 10% seats under Management Quota in Private Self Financing Pharmacy colleges. ‘Non-Keralite Category II’ (NK II) candidates are not eligible for admission to Medical and Allied Courses including MBBS/BDS and for admission to Government Engineering Colleges.
