I cannot be present for MET counselling. Will my parents be allowed in my stead?

While, the physical presence of the candidates at the MET counselling venue is mandatory, they may authorize another individual to represent them in case of unforeseen circumstances where they are unable to attend. The authorized representative must carry the letter of authorization along with the specified documents for verification. This registration will be valid for all the five rounds of counselling

No , it is necessary for the candidates to be present at the time of Counseling. If by can case you are unable to present at the counseling centre ,then your seat will be given to some other candidates. Please remember that there are thousands of students struggling to get admission in good colleges  ,so better not to miss chances and make yourself present at the time of Counseling.
