I got 269 out of 300 [pcm] and 120 in kcet 2018 what would be my rank?would i get seat in rvce?

Success comes to those who dedicate everything to their passion in life. To be successful, it is also very important to be humble and never let fame or money travel to your head.
The RV College of Engineering (RVCE) campus is huge and is also very beautiful. There is a separate block for each department. The academic infrastructure is top class. Labs are of course well-equipped and also have equipment which are not usually found in any other colleges of the city. The entire campus is Wifi enabled, which however isn't very reliable. Library is pretty big and has a lot of books. But it needs to enhance its collection as some of the books are not found in sufficient numbers. Also college needs to provide better facilities for sports. There are a couple of playgrounds (unlike many other engineering colleges in Bangalore, where there are absolutely no grounds or open space) but and they are not in a very good condition and students in general aren't too happy with this factor.

According to the rankings and stuff, last year it was BMS on top. And for mechanical it is always number one. RVCE is considered best for electronics and communication . PES University is considered the best for computer science.

Located on Mysore Road, RV College of Engineering (RVCE) is quite far from the centre of the city and it takes about an hour to reach the college without traffic. However it’s easily accessible as a lot of BMTC buses ply here. College also provides bus facility for 15,000 a year. Almost equal numbers of students travel by BMTC and college bus.

There is a heated race in the academic sector amongst the students to gain a seat in an institute of top repute for professional education. Competitive majors have selective admission requirements and stringent procedures adhering to which they grant admission to students. With the number of students increasing manifold every year, the race for the best seat is becoming more and more cutthroat.
