    I got 3087 rank in obc cat. In josaa counselling, if my 13th choice is given and a guy who got 3100 gives his 1st choice(which is my 13) ??

    Let me explain it . The seat allotment is on basis of rank and not on basis of choice. If your rank is 3087 you have more chances for getting it than a guy with 3100 ran irrespective of choice. But after getting it guy with 3100 rank will not get upgraded since it is his firat choice. And your branch may get upgraded with your higher choices if it is vacant.
