i got 50k obc rank in jee mains and crl of 1.48lakh then will i get any nit or iiit for branches like ece,eee ,civil or mechanical with my home state as tamilnadu

With an OBC rank around 50k and CRL around 1.48 lakh , top NITs like National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli are very difficult for core branches through regular JoSAA rounds.
However, with Tamil Nadu home state quota , you can still have chances in:
- newer/lower-tier NITs,
- some IIITs, and
- lower-demand branches like Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production, etc., especially in CSAB special rounds .
Possible options include:
- National Institute of Technology Puducherry
- National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh
- Indian Institute of Information Technology Dharwad
Participating in CSAB rounds is very important because many seats open up there.
