i have a good cuet score ie 939.. what should i choose doing bsc life science or zoology from hindu / miranda DU , or bsc biotec from any private college ,, if want to pursue msc biotec in future from du or bhu As bsc biotech is not available in good central university

With a CUET score of 939 , and considering your earlier goal of eventually pursuing M.Sc. Biotechnology/Bioinformatics from University of Delhi or Banaras Hindu University, I would recommend the following:

Best Option: B.Sc. Zoology or B.Sc. Life Sciences at DU

If you can get into a top DU college like:

• Hindu College
• Miranda House

choose DU over a private college .

Zoology vs Life Sciences

• B.Sc. Zoology is a better choice if you enjoy animal biology, genetics, physiology, and molecular biology.
• B.Sc. Life Sciences is broader and covers Zoology, Botany, Microbiology, Biochemistry, and Biotechnology-related subjects. It gives you flexibility for multiple M.Sc. programs.

For someone aiming for M.Sc. Biotechnology , B.Sc. Life Sciences generally provides the broadest foundation.

Why not a private B.Sc. Biotechnology?

Unless it is from a very reputed institute (such as VIT, SRM, or Manipal), a private B.Sc. Biotechnology usually does not offer a significant advantage over a top DU Life Sciences or Zoology degree.

A degree from Hindu College or Miranda House gives you:
