I have completed M.Sc Computer Science in distance. Can I get govt. job through GATE rank? My age around 35 years. Please reply me.

Hello,
Well, there is no minimum or maximum age limit criteria to appear for the GATE examination and for being eligible any candidate who has done a Masters degree in any branch of Science/Computer Applications can apply and also there is no issue with mode of education so you are eligible for GATE.
But the problem is you age is little high and most if the PSUs hire candidates with maximum age of 30-32..But don't be disappointed and give your best in the exam and hopefully you will get selected.

1st thing, If gate has no any age limit, so why psu has age limitation? If you get rank 5 at the age of 35 , then also you will not get govt. Job, then also you have to think how and where you will get the job. I can't understand so, why has unlimited age limitation in gate exam. Okay, you can tell me can i apply for lecturer job in NIT, IIT, JU through gate rank at the age of 35?.Kindly reply me of my whole queries. I am worrying about it.
