I have got 86.6 percentile in jee main first paper so I will get the admission in computer science branch of DTU College

Let me first tell you about the closing ranks of DTU of last year

Computer engg ( for delhi student)-10135

Computer engg (for outside delhi)-3070

Software engg (for delhi)-14304

Software engg (outside delhi)-4214

These are the cutoff for general cateogry.

Now let me tell your rank- around 125000.

So it seems you have very low chance. But you can improve your percentile by appearing in the exam once more in april.

With this percentile it will be not possible for you to get admission in computer science branch of DTU .

Because with this percentile your approximately rank will be more tha. 1.2 lakhs ( may increase depend upon april exam and other students).

As DTU is one the good college and competition is high so you have to secure rank under 3000 ( for outside delhi )

And under 8-9 thousand ( for delhi region quota).

So try to score atleast 99.8 -100 percentile marks.
