I too have a doubt as I heard from my friend as serving personnel is on priority order 8.so there's negligible chances for admission in ACMS if they are wards of serving personnel.. Is it so.?

If I consider the previous year data.then your chances of getting admission in acms college are very good because your father is in army.
You can avail a seat there through army quota.

Acms is a private institute with more than 420000 rupees per year....with 576 marks you can easily get govt. College through all India quota or state quota..
