Igor 82 percintle in jee and rank 1.6 lack, obc, of Telangana state. which IITs or gftis , should I go for
Hi
As per your percentile, I am guess1. 6 lakh is your crl.
Admission in IITs is through Jee advanced and not jee main dear
It's quite difficult to predict because cutoff keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like :-
******number of students that appeared in the jee main exam,
****** number of available seats,
****** performance of different students in the examination,
****** the category you belong etc.
But yes,
When we go through previous year trend then
You have low chances in GFTIs in josaa counselling but you have chances in some of the GFTIs in csab counselling which are listed below along with the link for their previous year cut off :-
------) Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering and Technology, Longowal ( in csab counselling) :- https://www.careers360.com/university/sant-longowal-institute-of-engineering-and-technology-longowal/cut-off
-------) Guru Ghasidas Vishwavidyalaya, Bilaspur( in csab counselling) :- https://www.careers360.com/university/guru-ghasidas-vishwavidyalaya-bilaspur/cut-off
------) Assam University, Silchar ( in csab counselling) :- https://www.careers360.com/university/assam-university-silchar/cut-off
And a few more
This prediction of colleges is based of past year data but cut off or closing rank changes every year depending upon many factors like the number of students that give the examination, difficulty level of the JEE main for different shifts etc so
To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to, your home state, your gender etc, the link for jee main college predictor is provided below

Hello Aspirant,
See as per your CRL rank mentioned in the question your OBC rank would be somewhere around 40-45k rank and on such OBC rank you have no chances to get any of the IIITs or GFTIs because the OBC rank closes around 20-21K for GFTIs in JOSAA counselling and you are very very far from this figure .
You can check out previous year's cut-offs from the official website of JOSAA as given below :-
https://josaa.nic.in/Result/Result/currentorcr.aspx
Note that the above prediction is made on the basis of latest cut-offs available on official website of JOSAA or CSAB and the cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors such as the number of candidates appearing in an examination, the number of candidates qualifying an examination, difficulty level of the paper, and so on.
