Students from selective states does get full tuition fee waiver. Also, there is no privilage for minority groups at the college level in tuition fees. You can apply on nsp if you are non-gen-obc. Although you can get a loan from the sbi through vidya lakshmi scheme, it requires good cibil score of your parents.
If you are from General-EWS category and your family income is less than Rs 1 lakh per year, then you are eligible for full tuition fee waiver at IIIT Nagpur under the Government of India rules.
This means you will not have to pay the tuition fee. But you will still need to pay other fees like hostel fee, mess charges, development fee, library fee and other service charges.
To get the fee waiver, you need to submit your income certificate showing that your annual family income is below Rs 1 lakh. You also need to give an affidavit or undertaking in the format given by the government.
After taking admission, you should also apply for government scholarships through the National Scholarship Portal or your state scholarship website. These may help you with hostel or other fees also.
