No way to get a seat like that at this prestigious university.
Here the complete counselling procedure is done purely based on merit.
in this one area one would appreciate because unlike other private universities it does not want money,as a consequence they need only merit based seating system.
also in present days the seat has become very tough because of heavy competition.
There is one chance to join sastra with out merit is that is that it has NRI quota and you need to register for that, the fees will be different and only a few limited seats are allowed.
Hindustan University admission procedure:
Hindustan Institute of Technology & Science (Deemed to be University) offers 33 UG and 14 PG programmes in Engineering, Technology, Management and Architecture including PhD, MS (By Research) and MPhil programmes in several disciplines. The counselling for the allocation of study to the short listed candidates is based on their All India Rank (AIR) in HITSEEE - 2018.
The registration of HITSEEE can be done online at www.admissions.hindustanuniv.ac.in. After initial registration, you will be able to access your application and furnish details like bio data, exam centre preference, course preference, etc. You can complete the registration by paying the entrance exam fee of Rs. 925 + (Bank charges). After the scrutiny of your application, you will be given exam admit card.
There are 75 online exam centres across major cities in India. Please visit the admissions page for finding important dates, exam pattern and sample questions.
After the announcement of HITSEEE results, the information regarding counselling dates will be published on the University's website.
Selection in admission procedure will be through counselling at the Admission Office in Chennai. A mere pass mark in HITSEEE does not guarantee admission and it depends on the ranking and availability of the seats.
Selected candidates will have to pay an advance amount of tuition fee before the start of course and get themselves successfully admitted into the program.
