It depends upon which course/programme you want to take admission in.Looking into 2020 session admission updates LPUNEST exam relaxation is given in many courses that LPU offers.LPU offers 200+ programmes.

Programmes like B.tech, PhD,LLM,Msc Agriculture in these programmes they keep mandatory condition to qualify LPUNEST exam for eligibility and in rest of the programmes it's candidate choice to give this exam to avail maximum scholarship benefits.

Moreover in B.tech if candidate score above 90% in 12th or got 90 percetile or more in jee exam then LPUNEST is exempted

It depends on the program for which you take admission. For example for BTech, MSc Agriculture , Phd and such courses the LPUNest is mandatory.For the other curses itbis just to get that enhanced scholarship level which might obtain by the good score of LPUNest.

So LPUNest is mandatory only for those course where it is written eligibility criteria: LPUNest . For the other courses it is your free will whether you want to give it or not as then it would be for an additional scholarship scale only.

There are more than 200 programmes in LPU and not all of them have LPUNEST under its eligibility conditions. But yes you can appear LPUNEST for scholarsip purpose. That is your choice!

The most important information for now is that, if you are looking to apply for admissions in LPU than it is recommended that the below process if followed on or before 31st May 2020.

• Select desired program (Under head Admissions on the website).
• Fill information and click Apply Now.

No, it is not mandatory to give LPUNEST exam except few courses. It depends on which programme you are interested in and want to apply for. There are courses such as B.A. B.Com. B.A., etc. for which you can apply as their eligibility condition is 50% in 12th (with English). For Other Courses like Engg, Honours programme eligibility is 60 % and for some, it is 55%.

It completely depends upon the course you looking for.  I am aware about admission details at LPU since I got my brother's admission done yesterday. So I will share details about LPU. There are certain courses in LPU in which there is no entrance exam such as BBA, BCA, Hotel Management, B.Sc in different specializations,Diploma programs, BJMC and many more , you just need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria and you can get your admission done. You can opt for scholarship test, if you want.  If you are looking for admission in Engineering, PG Agriculture, MBA or LLM , then you need to qualify Entrance exam. In these courses the same entrance exam will act as a scholarship exam as well. Counselling process is only followed in Engineering. If you have appeared for JEE exam in January, then you can be a part of their special counselling, last date to apply for the same is 20th April and if not then you can apply for LPUNEST and be a part of their regular counselling , last date to apply for the same is 30th April.

As per my knowledge,LPUNEST exam acts as a  parameter for fulfilling the eligibility criteria as well as for availing scholarship. It wholly depends on the course on which you intend to take admission. It's only mandatory when you want to avail admission in programmes like b.tech,LLM,Ph.d(exemptions apply if you have appeared in National level tests), and programmes like bba,b.com,b.sc computer science ,etc. Lpunest is not mandatory.

Though, my friends in lpu suggests that qualifying in lpunest brings the benefit of reduction of fees because the university provides scholarships to students.
