Last year (2020) cutoff was 10k+ for PEC CSE gen-ews, HS quota. I got gen-ews rank 5704 in mains 2021 but in both of the josaa mock test I'm not getting CSE. what is the reason? in just 1 year cut off dropped this much?

Hi

Following are the factors that will be considered while determining the cutoff of JEE Main 2021.

Number of candidates appeared for the exam.
Number of seats available.
Difficulty level of JEE Main exam.
Previous year JEE Main cutoff trends.

So some of these may have caused such fluctuation in cutoff. Keep trying for other institutes. Although it is just mock round you should wait for actual results.
