Highlighting the contributions of the National Green Tribunal, Naidu called for training more legal practitioners in environmental law , making poorer sections aware of their rights , creation of specialised benches , and mak ing legislations that maintain a fine balance between ‘ecology and economy’.

Emphasising the importance of such international conferences, Shri Naidu said that “we have to learn from each other globally and adopt best practices from all over the world”. He appreciated Chandigarh University for its initiative and hoped the conference will open a new chapter in environmental protection in the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Hon’ble Governor, Punjab And Administrator, UT Chandigarh Shri Banwarilal Purohit said that human development in the 21st century is directly linked to protecting environmental resources from mindless consumption and destruction.

“There is a need to synergize economic development and environmental resources. We need to usher movement that involves the people - “People’s Participation”. I definitely understand the dilemma of selecting a university for your higher studies. This can surely be a life changing experience for a lot of us.

To be honest, I would strictly suggest you to choose Chandigarh University, as it is graded A+ by NAAC and has a good placement record. There are a lot students, who get confused whether to take admission in a new organization or not. However, Chandigarh University is not that new. As compared to LPU, it has better courses and being a faculty of this university I can easily swear on one thing and that is the amount of hard work the teachers put in to make the students achieve their goals. The university offers various co curricular activities as well for students’ overall development. They organize events like TechFest and Effectus where students can portray their ideas and a lot of them have even got their patents. I have understood one thing, if the students ask for help on any of their projects, be it, personal only, the university never says no to innovations. They totally believe in the concept of innovative engineers.  They keep on boasting students for their placements .

If you really are passionate about engineering and want to excel in your field you should go ahead with Chandigarh University and I’m sure the university won’t let you down.
